Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) is the greatest pet detective around. When the Miami Dolphin's mascot is kidnapped, Ace is on the case. Between his wacky antics and romancing the even coordinator for the Dolphins (Courtney Cox), Ace must uncover a tangled web of murder, revenge, and football.

Ace Ventura is on the case after the Miami Dolphins' mascot has been taken. His only clue is a rare triangular stone that he is convinced came from a 1984 Dolphin AFC Championship ring. So Ace sets off to check every ring to see if its missing a stone.
