Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore 3 Stars
Buffy The Vampire Slayer

You can't get more typical of a training montage than this one. Buffy Summers, regular Valley Girl, has the combat skills of a cheerleader. But she has been called to fight the vampires of the world and must develop her fighting skills.

Our hero starts out making funny mistakes and ends up being a badass. Watch Donald Sutherland being Donald Sutherland, and a quick shot of Stephen Root as the disappointed principal. Plus, its got Kristy Swanson grunting while covered with a sexy, sweaty sheen.

I've NEVER seen this movie, nor WILL I ever see it. EVER. That being said, the TV show RULED. I highly reccomend the show to everyone. Story, action, lesbians, violence, STORY...it had it all. One of the best TV shows. Ever.

I love Buffy!

I have seen the movie and it was quite entertaining. It has none of the drama of the Tv show, but it is all comedy. I do agree that the Tv show is fabulous and I was very upset when it ended at its seventh season! One of the best Tv shows ever, I absolutely agree!!!

Stay away from the t.v. show, please.

I love this montage so much. Nothing is more thrilling than seeing the master teach the student. In this case, Merrick is giving Buffy the combat skills necessary to combat the undead that are plaguing the City of Angels. It shows how Buffy learns how to stake vampires, climb walls and ropes, be gymnastic and my most favorite part, using lethal hand-to-hand combat techniques to disarm and diable her opponents. The montage also shows her trying to balance her slaying life with her school life. Much the way a teens would do with an afterschool job or something. That being said, I urge you to not waste your brain cells on the show. The show lacked almost everything the movie had and even worse, Kristy wasn't in the series at all! Let's face it folks, if you don't have the original actors, then the show isn't worth anything at all.
