Baby (Jennifer Grey) and her family are spending the summer at a holiday camp, where she develops a crush on Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze), the sexy dance instructor. When she offers to fill in for his normal dance partner, the two become closer than they expected and must deal with the consequences.
