After going into a bizarre tailspin (culminating in her drunk on-air sing-along with striking bus drivers), Lanie wakes up hungover at her cameraman's apartment and forced to face the reality of her actions. Instead of returning to life, she spends the day with Pete, her cameraman, and their romance begins.

Its a typical cutesy dating montage. Verbal fencing, guy doing sweet things, doing nothing together. As a bonus for the guys, there are several close-ups of Angelina Jolie's gargantuan lips.
