All is not well on Elm Street. While Freddy should be dead, Kristen worries he has returned. Rick is Kristen Parker's new boyfriend and while he doesn't yet know about Freddy, he's in super training mode in the garage practicing his karate.

As cool as this montage is, it is a borderline training montage. Rick is already fairly competant, there isn't a mentor figure in the picture, and time on screen is rather short. Also, it really only collapsing one night of training instead of a regimen over several weeks. But the imagery is pretty good and music rocks so its worth checking out.

This was a great enough 30 second scene to have me remember it for the next 15 years - vividly remembering exactly what went on and trying to find the song. While I don't remember anything else in any of the Nightmare moviews I know exactly what happens in this scene.
