Hoops McCann (John Cusack) has just graduate from high school and can't figure out what to do with his life. He wants to be a cartoonist, but just can't figure out what to draw. So he spends the summer in Nantucket with his wacky friends where he meets Cassandra (Demi Moore) and decides to help her save her house.
	Boat Building [ One Crazy Summer ] Aquilla Beckersted has used his contacts with the bank to take away Cassandra's house for use in his new housing development. The only way for Cassandra to get her house back is for someone other than the Beckersteds to win the Nantucket Regatta and trade the trophey for the house. 	Would I Lie to You [ One Crazy Summer ] Cassandra is playing music at a local bar to try to raise money to save her house. However, turnout has been pretty poor lately.
