LAPD's Special Weapons and Tactics team is the best of the best, handling law enforcement tasks that no one else can. Sgt. Hondo (Samuel L. Jackson) has put together a new squad of highly motivated individuals to escort a drug kingpin to prison after the kingpin has offered 100 million dollars to anyone who can bust him out of police custody.

The team still has a few mis-steps to work on, but they've made excellent progress and are starting to look like a real force to be reckoned with.
