The team has moved on from basic S.W.A.T. concepts to advanced, close quarters, night raids. The team still has a few mis-steps to work on, but they've made excellent progress and are starting to look like a real force to be reckoned with. Even Hondo, the team's mentor, is pleased with their progress.

Why have one training montage when you can have two back-to-back at twice the length? Honestly, the two team-based training montages could have been combined into one montage, but I think the director was more focused on the sniper-poker scene and so decided to split the montage to provide a buffer.
